DENVER (KDVR) -- Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado Jason Dunn provided his insight on the impact of several political issues in the spotlight on "Colorado Point of View" this week. An audio recording of former President Donald Trump from two years ago at his New Jersey club revealed more about the federal charges over his handling of classified documents. “It’s pretty clear from the indictment that people in the room including I think the reporter who made that recording and apparently had told the president that he was being recorded,” Dunn said on “Colorado Point of View” this week. A Hialeah resident hopes clear surveillance video will lead police to locate the package prowler who targeted their home.The security footage captured the subject, seen wearing a black Def Leppard T-shirt, light colored shorts and tattoos on both arms, as he casually opened a front gate, walking up to the door and took packages that had just been delivered.The thief was seen walking back to a white Mercedes-Benz SUV that was waiting for him.Inside one of those packages was a pair of Balenciaga sneakers gifted to the owner as a late birthday gift. 7Weather- After a hazy Saturday, air quality should improve tomorrow. Afternoon/evening showers will help to disperse some of the smoke pollutants/haze. Showers and storms remain in the forecast Monday and Tuesday before we dry out and heat up.An Air Quality Alert will still run through tonight for air quality that could approach unhealthy levels. LISLE, Ill. — A single-family home in west suburban Lisle was destroyed in an explosion Saturday evening. According to emergency responders, no one was hurt. Neighbors in the area say the family was away on vacation.The stench of smoke hung in the air as debris remained scattered throughout the 4500 block of Ivanhoe Road. CHICAGO — Two men were injured Saturday afternoon in a pair of shootings on the West Side. The first incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the 4100 block of W. Washington, where a 19-year-old male standing outside was shot in the lower back.He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. A DuPage County judge in May ruled that the red light cameras near Oak Brook Mall at the intersection of Route 83 and 22 Street must be removed, upholding an order by the Illinois Department of Transportation to deactivate the camera. Austin (KXAN) — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department urges those hitting local lakes this July 4th holiday to prevent the spread of invasive Zebra Mussels and aquatic plants.According to TWPD, the invasive Zebra Mussel's first infestation in Texas was found in Lake Texoma in 2009 but are now in dozens of Texas lakes. The species is known to adhere itself to bottoms of boats and motors which makes them easy to accidentally transport. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Cracked road on a portion of the US-183 frontage road was temporarily patched Friday ahead of the 4th of July weekend, a Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) spokesperson told KXAN.The cracked road was reported on the US-183 Toll at 5315 Ed Bluestein Blvd, CTRMA said. Traffic Alert: Portion of US-183 frontage road closed for roadway repairs More specifically, CTRMA said the cracked road was in front of the YMCA, and it was temporarily patched and open to traffic Friday. There was no timeline for a permanent fix, nor does the company know what caused the issue.Furthermore, CTRMA said the southbound side of US-183 is still in the process of being repaired but is currently open to traffic. The contractor will be back out to complete the second half following the July 4th weekend, so the community should expect some additional traffic impacts next week, CTRMA said.Latest news
