A former Riverside County Sheriff’s Department correctional deputy faces a pair of felony charges after he was allegedly caught with more than 40 pounds of drugs.Banning resident Jorge Oceguera-Rocha, 25, was pulled over in Calimesa on Sept. 17, and authorities allegedly found a gun and narcotics, the Riverside County District Attorney's Office said in a news release. Deputy caught with more than 44 pounds of drugs, gun, RCSD says Jail records indicate he faces two charges, possession of more than 44 pounds of narcotics for sale and transportation with the intention to distribute more than 8.8 pounds of narcotics. LIVERMORE — Motorists can have their catalytic converters marked with a traceable ID number free of charge Tuesday in Livermore.Livermore police and Las Positas College are hosting the etching event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the college’s Automotive Department on Loop Road, Building 3500. The cutoff time for the last vehicle in line will be 3 p.m.The goal is to make catalytic converters less attractive to thieves and easier to trace if stolen, according to a press release. Technicians will take control of vehicles to drive them onto a lift.
